Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the arcforgelabs.dev website (the "Site"), the free web tools served from it, such as the Key password generator (the "Tools"), and the Reversi mobile application for iOS (the "App"), each operated by Arcforge Digital Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, the Tools, or the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Eligibility (App)

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account (App)

You may sign in with your Apple ID or continue as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. The Site and the Tools do not offer or require accounts.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (App)

3.1 Subscription Plans

The App offers optional premium subscriptions ("Premium") that remove advertisements and unlock additional features. Subscription options and pricing are displayed in the App before purchase.

3.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or annually, depending on your selected plan) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

3.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it is available to new subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the displayed rate.

3.5 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. For billing questions or refund requests, contact Apple Support.

4. Acceptable Use

In connection with the Site, the Tools, and the App, you agree not to:

  • Use them for any unlawful purpose.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt our servers, hosting, or infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Use them in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair their functionality.

5. Fair Play Policy (App)

Reversi is committed to a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. You agree not to:

  • Use external engines, bots, or AI assistance during rated games.
  • Manipulate your rating through intentional losing, collusion, or multi-accounting.
  • Exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Deliberately disconnect or stall to avoid losses.

We employ automated anti-cheat detection. Violations may result in warnings, rating adjustments, temporary suspensions, or permanent account bans at our sole discretion. Decisions regarding sanctions are final.

6. The Website and Web Tools

The Site and the Tools are provided free of charge and require no account. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of them at any time without notice.

Key generates passwords and passphrases entirely on your device; we never receive or store what it generates, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether a generated credential meets the requirements of any system you use it with, for storing it securely, and for the consequences of how you use it. A password is only one part of account security; we make no representation that any generated credential will prevent unauthorized access to any account or system.

Key's source code is published separately under the MIT License at github.com/nathanramoscfa/password-key. That license governs your use of the code itself; these Terms govern your use of the hosted Tool on this Site.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site, the Tools, and the App, including their design, code, graphics, sounds, and content, are owned by Arcforge Digital Labs LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws (except where a component is separately licensed, as noted in Section 6). "Reversi" refers to the classic public-domain board game. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Content (App)

The App allows you to select a display name. You are responsible for ensuring your display name does not infringe on any third-party rights or contain offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to modify or reset display names that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE, THE TOOLS, AND THE APP ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THEY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCFORGE DIGITAL LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE, THE TOOLS, OR THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE, THE TOOLS, OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arcforge Digital Labs LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, the Tools, or the App, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, the Tools, or the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms or the Fair Play Policy. You may stop using them and delete your App account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site, the Tools, or the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Apple-Specific Terms (App)

These Terms are between you and Arcforge Digital Labs LLC, not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession and use of the App.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
