Your action plan.

Eight steps through everything worth testing. Enter your code and the page fills itself in from your actual games — there is nothing here to tick by hand.

Your progress

Open Reversi and go to Settings → Beta Action Plan. Available on TestFlight builds.

  1. Phase 1

    Get in

Install, open it, and learn the rules if you need them.

    • Install Reversi and reach the home screen

Install through TestFlight and open the app once.

    • Finish the tutorial

New to Reversi, or want to see whether the tutorial actually teaches it? Home → Learn.

  2. Phase 2

    Play on your own

A full game against the engine, and a daily puzzle.

    • Play a full game against the computer

Any difficulty. Play it to the end rather than quitting partway — the finish is what counts.

    • Solve a daily puzzle

Home → Puzzles → the daily one. Read the explanation afterwards; it is meant to teach, and if it does not, that is worth reporting.

  3. Phase 3

    Review a game

The feature the whole app is built around.

    • Open Game Review on a finished game

Engine analysis of a game you actually played — where it swung, what the engine preferred. A fresh review takes about ten seconds; opening it again is instant.

  4. Phase 4

    Play a person

The step that needs someone on the other side of the board.

    • Play a live game against another person

Home → Find Game. If nobody is around you may be offered a computer opponent — that is a fine game, but this step only counts a human one, so try again at a busier hour.

  5. Phase 6

    Report back

Tell the studio what to fix.

    • Send written feedback

Take a screenshot anywhere in the app and it offers to send it. Shaking the phone works too, as does Settings → Send Feedback. Say what was confusing, not just what was broken.
